Arsenal Want Juan Mata at £15m

Juan Mata the super little attacking number 10 from Valancia is the one player that Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has identified his club must buy this Summer. He has told club executives to get Mata whatever the cost even though the fee is believed to be as low as £15 million.

Arsenal are now odds on favourites to buy Juan Mata but this does not mean that Arsenal want to sell Sami Nasri despite both players having similiar roles for their clubs.

Arsene Wenger has told Nasri that he will not be sold to another English club despite the players wishes to want to speak to both Man Utd and Man City. With only a year left on Nasri’s contract this high risk strategy could backfire on the Gunners but Wenger is insistent that the player signs a new £100k a week deal to keep him at the Emirates.
